Well folks, the great Ike-a-saurus Rummage Sale Saturday was a HUGE success! So many people came out to support us, buy some great stuff, and just plain donate.
We raised over $3700!
Mama Angel raised another $50 the next morning with a garage sale and the leftover goods.
It was great fun hanging out with all the mamas and babies and happy kids, while enjoying juggling, story time, face painting, haiku on demand, baked goodies, a clown, music, and more and more and more! It was also lovely to see Ike’s dad, grandma, brother, and sister come out to enjoy the day with us.
Big huge thanks to Stacy and Angel for all of their hard work putting this event together – superstars both of them – and to all of the mamas who volunteered their time on Saturday to make this a huge success.
Special thanks as well to Cafe Caffeine and Thai Fresh for giving up their parking lot to us for the day! Thai Fresh’s Jam even fed the volunteers – and if you have tasted her food, you know what a huge treat that is!
